Claiming a gift
How cash gifts work.
Cash gifts move directly between the sender and you through their Revolut, PayPal or Wise payment link. Only Cards never holds, transfers, verifies or guarantees gift money — and never charges for it.
To send or receive a cash gift, both people need a Revolut, PayPal or Wise account — the money moves directly between those accounts, never through Only Cards.
1. The sender adds their payment link
When building the card, the sender picks an amount and pastes their own Revolut, PayPal or Wise payment link, created in their provider's app.
2. You open the card privately
The gift link travels inside the private card link only — it never appears in previews or public pages.
3. You claim it directly
Tap “Claim your gift” to open the sender's Revolut, PayPal or Wise link and receive the money straight from them through the provider.
How long links last
Indicative validity, subject to your provider and account eligibility: Revolut about 7 days, PayPal about 10 days, Wise about 5 days. Links aren't renewed automatically — if you're scheduling a card, make sure it opens within the link's validity.
If a link doesn't work
Payment links are created and controlled by the sender and can expire. If a gift link doesn't open or has expired, please contact your sender — they can create a fresh link in their Revolut, PayPal or Wise app. Any questions about the transfer itself are handled by the payment provider.
Cash gifts are sent directly through independent payment providers. Only Cards does not hold, transfer, verify or guarantee gift funds. Gift links may expire, and availability, eligibility and fees depend on your chosen provider.
The amount shown in the card is entered by the sender and isn't independently verified.
